Configure Alarms in a Firewall Policy

If you want the Firebox to send an alarm log message when traffic matches the policy settings, enable alarms in the policy. To generate data for the Alarms report, you must enable alarms in the policy.

To configure alarms for a policy, from WatchGuard Cloud:

  1. Add or edit a policy. For more information, see Configure Firewall Policies in WatchGuard Cloud.
  2. In the policy configuration, select the Advanced tab.
  3. To enable alarms for a policy, select the Alarm check box.
    The Alarm setting is in the Notification section.

  4. To disable alarms for a policy, clear the Alarm check box.
  5. To save the policy, click Save.
