DHCP Leases

To DHCP lease information for the Firebox, select System Status > DHCP Leases. The DHCP Leases page appears with information about the DHCP client leases.

DHCPv4 Lease Summary

In Fireware v12.7 or higher, the DHCP Leases page includes a DHCPv4 Lease Summary list. This list includes:

Subnet

The range of IP addresses specified in the DHCP server settings for Firebox interfaces.

Count

The total number of DHCP leases included in each IPv4 DHCP range configured on the Firebox.

Leased

How many DHCP leases are in use.

DHCPv4 List

The DHCPv4 list includes information about leases for clients with IPv4 addresses:

Interface

The Firebox interface that the client is connected to.

IP Address

The IP address for the lease.

Host

The host name. If there is not an available host name, this item is empty.

MAC Address

The MAC address associated with the lease.

Start Time

The time that the client requested the lease.

End Time

The time that the lease expires.

Hardware Type

The type of hardware.

DHCPv6 List

The DHCPv6 list includes information about leases for clients with IPv6 addresses:

Interface

The Firebox interface that the client is connected to.

DUID

The DUID (DHCP Unique Identifier) used by the client to get an IP address from the DHCPv6 server.

IAID

The IAID (Identity Association Identifier) assigned to the client.

IP Address

The IP address for the lease.

Start Time

The time that the client requested the lease.

End Time

The time that the lease expires.
