POP3-Proxy: Headers

The POP3-proxy examines email headers to find patterns common to forged email messages, as well as those from legitimate senders. You can add, delete, or modify rules. Any RFC non-conformant message headers are automatically stripped from a message.

  1. In the POP3 proxy action configuration, select Headers.

  1. Configure the rule action.
    For more information, go to Add, Change, or Delete Rules.
  2. To change settings for another category in this proxy, see the topic for that category.
  3. Save the settings.

If you modified a predefined proxy action, when you save the changes you are prompted to clone (copy) your settings to a new action.
