IMAP-Proxy: Headers

The IMAP proxy examines email headers to find patterns common to forged email messages, as well as those from legitimate senders. You can add, delete, or modify rules. The IMAP proxy automatically strips and messages headers that do not confirm to the IMAP RFC standard.

  1. In the IMAP proxy action configuration, select Headers.

  1. Configure the rule actions.
    For more information, see Add, Change, or Delete Rules.
  2. To change settings for another category in this proxy, see the topic for that category.
  3. Save the settings.

If you modified a predefined proxy action, when you save the changes you are prompted to clone (copy) your settings to a new action.
