Configure DHCPv6 Server Prefix Delegation

You can configure the DHCPv6 server on a trusted, optional, or custom interface to delegate IPv6 prefixes to DHCPv6 clients that connect. To enable your device to delegate prefixes, you must add prefixes to the prefix pool. You can also add reserved prefixes to delegate to specific clients.

For more information about how to configure DHCPv6 server settings, go to Configure an IPv6 DHCP Server.

After you configure the prefix pool, you can configure DHCPv6 clients on your network to request a delegated prefix.
