Filter Computers and Devices
Applies To: WatchGuard Advanced EPDR, WatchGuard EPDR, WatchGuard EDR,WatchGuard EDR Core, WatchGuard EPP
On the Computers page, use the Filter tab to create dynamic groups to organize the computers and devices on your network.
Your operator role determines what you can see and do in WatchGuard Cloud. Your role must have the Manage Computer Tree permission to view or configure this feature. For more information, go to Manage WatchGuard Cloud Operators and Roles.
When you define a filter, any computers that match the criteria appear in the filter group. WatchGuard Endpoint Security can filter a computer into more than one group. When the status of a computer changes and it no longer fulfills the conditions of the filter, WatchGuard Endpoint Security automatically removes the computer or device from the group defined by the filter.
You can organize filters in folders. For more information, see Organize Filters.
Predefined Filters
WatchGuard Endpoint Security includes common filters that you can use to organize and locate network computers. You can edit or delete these predefined filters. You cannot recover a predefined filter after you delete it.
The predefined filters vary with each WatchGuard Endpoint Security product. If you do not see a predefined filter in your management UI, it is not supported by your product.
