WatchGuard® Remote Installation ServicesIn order for your LiveSecurity system to provide you the maximum protection possible, it must be properly configured. The key to a proper LiveSecurity system setup is knowing what security policy you wish to enforce and having a complete and accurate mapping of your network. If you are a LiveSecurity subscriber and encounter an issue after setting up a WatchGuard product or service, you may contact WatchGuard Technical Support to assist you. Our support technicians are prepared to resolve specific issues involving any aspect of WatchGuard products as well as the optional service upgrades. However, if you need comprehensive assistance with the initial setup and configuration of a WatchGuard product, you have two options. The first option is to contact a WatchGuard Authorized Reseller in your area. Many of our authorized resellers offer on-site installation services to help you get your products up and running quickly and efficiently. A second option is to schedule a "Remote Installation Slot" with a WatchGuard technician. WatchGuard Remote Installation Services are designed to be a low cost installation alternative for those customers who have their WatchGuard products and wish for more comprehensive assistance in configuring their product. For a fee, a WatchGuard technician will assist you for up to two hours by reviewing your configuration needs and educating you on how to configure your product or service to receive the best performance. If you are interested in scheduling a remote installation slot, please call us at +1.206.613.0800. All slots are allocated on a first come, first served basis and must be scheduled 72 hours in advance. Please be prepared to provide your name, company name, phone number and product serial number along with a requested time frame. Remote installation slots are available from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM your local time Monday through Friday for a fee of $599 USD per 2-hour slot. After-hour installation slots are available upon request for a fee of $799 USD per 2-hour slot. Should your installation needs require additional assistance after the initial 2-hour time slot, you may be able to purchase additional hours at $300 US per hour. This is dependent on availability of the technician and is not guaranteed. Prior to scheduling your installation slot, you should prepare a thorough and accurate network diagram (including remote VPN locations if necessary) and your desired security policy needs. Once an installation slot is scheduled, you'll be asked to submit all prepared documentation for review by the assigned technician. You can provide this information via email, fax or by uploading the documents directly to the installation incident. Providing this information before your scheduled slot time begins will give the technician time to review your network beforehand and guarantee you get the most out of your 2-hour installation slot. Please note that all installation slots begin precisely at the scheduled time. If you call in late, the time lost is yours. Likewise, if the assigned technician is not available at the scheduled time you can reschedule without penalties. Cancellation PolicyYou may cancel or reschedule your installation slot as late as one full business day in advance and not incur a charge. Cancellations or rescheduling less than one full business day in advance or failure to be available during the agreed upon installation time will result in forfeiture of the full installation fee. |
