Choose your management interface.
WatchGuard offers three management environments for all appliances running Fireware® XTM. This gives IT administrators the flexibility to monitor and configure appliances in the way that works best for them:

1. WatchGuard System Manager (WSM)

WSM is the classic Windows-based, rich management environment from WatchGuard. It includes powerful tools for managing one appliance or hundreds from a single console. It allows one-touch OS, configuration, or license updates to single or multiple WatchGuard XTM or Firebox appliances. Use it to create drag-and-drop VPN tunnels with just three mouse clicks. Secure, centralized logging and comprehensive reporting are included in WSM – with no extra logging or reporting modules to buy.

2. Command Line Interface (CLI)

Ideal for integration with scripting tools to automate routine tasks on one or multiple appliances, or for IT administrators who are more comfortable typing than clicking. CLI allows WatchGuard products to be easily integrated with existing environments, which is particularly useful in large scale deployments.

3. Web User Interface

This is an all-new browser-based UI for all appliances running Fireware XTM, from the smallest Firebox X Edge appliance to the enterprise-ready XTM 1050. Simple, yet powerful, the Web UI allows configuration and management of individual WatchGuard appliances from clients on any platform using popular web browsers. It gives administrators the flexibility to manage network security from anywhere, without having to install management software.
