Edge Pro is the advanced appliance software for Firebox® X Edge security appliances. It includes all the robust features of the standard Edge appliance software from WatchGuard, but with important networking enhancements designed to make your network more resilient and downtime-resistant. Features include:
Load balancing – increases reliability by ensuring traffic is distributed evenly across multiple ISP connections Policy-based routing – allows preferential treatment to mission-critical services and applications WAN failover – maximizes network uptime
Edge Pro also expands your secure remote access options by increasing the number of SSL VPN tunnels to the maximum available per model.
Availability
Edge Pro ships with all Firebox X55e and X55e-W appliances, and is available as an optional upgrade for X10e, X10e-W, X20e, and X20e-W models.
