PSInfo Check Certificates

Applies To: WatchGuard Advanced EPDR, WatchGuard EPDR, WatchGuard EDR, WatchGuard EPP, WatchGuard EDR Core

From PSInfo, you can use the Check Certificates tool to retrieve and install missing root and certificate authority (CA) certificates that your endpoint security product requires. When you run the tool, it automatically installs any missing root certificates to your computer. The tool also gives you the option to install any missing CA certificates.

To establish a secure connection for endpoint security products, you must install root certificates to your computer. The addition of CA certificates is optional. To validate and diagnose connection issues with your endpoint security products, you can also install the intermediate certificates to your computer. For example, if there is an issue with a certificate when you try to establish an HTTPS connection, the installed intermediate certificates allow the device to verify the trust chain locally and confirm if any intermediate certificates are not available in the certificate chain.

To establish a secure connection, some systems or applications require you to install intermediate certificates.

To check for missing certificates:

  1. Run PSInfo.exe.
    The PSInfo dialog box opens.
  2. Select the Tools tab.
