WatchGuard EDR Core is a subscription service for your Firebox. It is included in the Total Security Suite (TSS) subscription. You can install EDR Core on a limited number of endpoints in your network. The number of included endpoints depends on the Firebox model.

The EDR Core subscription license has two components:
Firebox feature key
When the EDR Core feature is enabled in your Firebox feature key, you can configure the Firebox to send network security events to your WatchGuard Cloud account. The feature key has an expiration date for this subscription service. When you activate or renew your subscription, make sure to update the feature key on the Firebox so that it continues to report security events on your network.

EDR Core license
Your EDR Core license includes software for the endpoints. WatchGuard Endpoint Security enables you to install and use the WatchGuard Endpoint Agent to monitor activity on endpoints in your network. When you activate your security subscription, the EDR Core license is automatically added to your WatchGuard Cloud account. EDR Core expires when your Total Security Suite subscription expires. To go to your EDR Core license and allocate endpoints, log in to WatchGuard Cloud. For more information, go to Log In and Log Out of WatchGuard Cloud.
About Endpoint Security Licenses
