I forgot my user name and/or password.
If you know your email address, you may be able to reset your password. If you forgot the email address associated with user name and password, please contact Customer Care on the web or on the phone and specify your first name, last name, company name, email address and LiveSecurity® license key.

I don't have a user name or password.
To create a user name and password, you will need to register. Fill out the personal information and select a user name and password.

My user name and password aren't working.
Verify that you have entered your user name and password correctly. Passwords must be between 6 and 15 numbers and/or letters.

If this does not work, please contact Customer Care on the web or on the phone.

How do I access the LiveSecurity® Service?
To access the LiveSecurity Service, you'll need to be a LiveSecurity Subscriber and activate your WatchGuard® product online.

First, you'll need to register and create a WatchGuard account.
After you've successfully registered, click the "Activate your product" link or go directly to www.watchguard.com/activate/.
Upon successful product activation, you'll be able to access your LiveSecurity Service at any time with the WatchGuard user name and password you have selected.

Where do I log in to the LiveSecurity Service?
To log in directly to your LiveSecurity Service, click "Log In" in the top-right corner of any page.

I'm a new user. How do I register and log in to the Partners section?
To gain access to the WatchGuard Partners area, register as a WatchGuard user and indicate that you are a Channel Partner or Reseller. Upon successful registration, you will be able to access the WatchGuard Partners site with your WatchGuard user name and password.

What does "Remember me" do?
The "Remember me" option will automatically look up your user name and password from our servers next time you visit so you won't have to log in yourself. Your browser must be able to accept cookies for this feature to work.

Security Caution

If you use a shared computer or if there is a chance that someone else might use this computer, your best choice is to not use this feature and log in each time you visit.
If you are the only person who uses this computer, you may choose to have your user name and password retrieved automatically when you return.

How long does it remember?
As long as you return again within 90 days and you have cookies enabled, you will not be required to log in again. If you return after 90 days, or if you delete your cookies you will be asked to log in next time you return.

How does this work?
A unique identifier is stored in an encrypted cookie on your computer. When you click a login link on this site, our server reads the cookie and looks up your user name and password from our database to log you in.

If your company owns WatchGuard® products you must log in to your existing account to renew, upgrade, add new products, access support or make account changes. If the previous administrator has left your company and you do not have a user name and password, but wish to access to your company's account, please follow these steps to request a change of record:

First, create a profile. Then fax the following information on your company letterhead to 206.521.3099, Attn: Administrator Change:

Your first name, last name and email address.
The name of the previous administrator, if known.
Company name
The area code and phone number where you can be reached, with country code if applicable.
The LiveSecurity® Service key or serial number of your WatchGuard product.
