Position Overview

You will join the QA team to ensure high quality of the Core/Peak product lines. You will utilize your experience and knowledge in system setup, networking, and security in a collaborated and rewarding environment. You will learn new technologies, expand your capabilities, and exercise your leadership through each project.

Duties/Responsibilities

You will design, document, and execute test cases that confirm product functionality against technical or functional specification. You will review user documentation for technical accuracy. You will isolate observed defects to a minimum set of repeatable steps, eliminating as many antecedent causes as possible, and use basic networking tools and scripts for problem isolation. You will communicate with product developers and technical support specialists on product issues. You will create test case and test plan documentation that conform to department standards for form and content.

Education/Skills/Environment

  • BS or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Working knowledge of VB Script, Windows Script, Perl, Shell, or some scripting languages.
  • Working knowledge of network security products and protocols (TCP, UDP, HTTP, SNMP,..)
  • Proficiency with using and administrating Windows and Linux
  • Proficiency with configuring and operating networking equipment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5 years of QA experience.
  • 2 years of experience with network and system setup and administration.

Working Conditions

Position primarily works in office environment. Sitting for long period of time. Use of computer monitor and keyboard is required.

Travel Requirements

Minimal to none.
