Position Overview

Works within Engineering’s Program Management Office to manage definition, documentation, review and improvement of engineering and cross-departmental processes that support product or service development and delivery.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Manages high-impact, high-visibility projects or programs of one or more years' duration, spanning multiple departments
  • Defines and leads continual process improvement efforts
  • Identifies significant problems and leads the resolution process
  • Designs and manages scheduling, record-keeping and reporting systems
  • Applies project management skills to successfully manage the scope, cost, risk, quality and completion date

Education/Skills/Environment

  • Ability to lead a wide variety of areas of the technical project and program management
  • Excellent level of knowledge of all areas of business operations
  • Advanced ability to manage highly complex projects involving multiple groups
  • Excellent time management, decision-making, presentation, human relations, and organizational skills
  • Highly capable of designing and implementing processes to solve problems or otherwise improve project or program management

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7 or more years experience in project or program management
  • Masters degree in related technical area or management
  • Professional program management certification desired
