Primary Objective
This position reports to the sales engineering manager and is responsible for driving revenue growth through identified reseller partners to end customers.
Responsibilities
The Sales Manager is specifically responsible for the following functions:
- Be the key representation and interface for all project-related sales activities.
- Select, maintain and manage the optimal number of distributors in the country or cities to ensure that we have the right coverage and representation.
- Ensure that with each distributor and WSP we have the right mindshare and investment from each distributor and WSP in order for us to have the maximum leverage from the relationship. Ensure that they are also given the right level of support for them to be successful from all departments of WatchGuard.
- Making sure that we have the right number of resellers representing us in each sector in each city and that the resellers have the right competency to be effective selling WatchGuard.
- Making sure we maximize all marketing resources including Market Development fund to have maximum demand generation for our products.
Competencies
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related degree
- Preferably 4+ years of sales experience at least 2 are in channel management or account management
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including public speaking
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure with limited timeframe
- Works well with limited supervision; Ability to work independently
- Excellent customer service - team player
