Primary Objective
This position reports to the Country Manager, Korea. The position is responsible for providing the sales team with pre-sales and post sales support in the region to ensure we maximize all the opportunities in this region for the company.
Responsibilities
- Identify, develop and expand technical relationships with channel partners in territory.
- Drive revenue growth through identified reseller partners to end customers by providing pre-sales technical support and technical training.
- Assist Korean team with pre-sales and post sales support.
- Assist in increasing end user adoption of WatchGuard’s products through end user events (seminars, web trainings, technical trainings etc.).
- Drive coordination of technical resources as needed to close prospective opportunities.
- Maintain reseller partner account information (technical contact/profile information etc.).
- Identify and report on competitive trends (products, promotions etc.) in the territory.
- Escalate and resolve reseller/end customer issues when appropriate.
- Travel required -- Greater than 50%, or as required to exceed sales objectives.
Competencies
- Proven track record in pre-sales and post sales activities.
- Consistent achievement of assigned objectives and quotas.
- Technical knowledge of networking infrastructure and internet security systems.
- Excellent oral and written communications.
- Five (5) years technical or equivalent experience in related industry.
- Ability to work in a dynamic sales environment.
- Effectively manage territory expenses.
Education
- Minimum four (4) year tertiary education required.
- Appropriate technical certifications required.
