Primary Objective
This position reports to the regional sales manager and is responsible for driving revenue growth by interfacing directly with customers in support of the sales team in assigned accounts.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Identify, develop and expand technical relationships with strategic customers with assigned account manager
- Drive revenue growth directly with assigned customers and through identified reseller partners by providing pre-sales technical support and technical trainings.
- Assist assigned Reseller Account Manager with pre-sales and post-sales support.
- Drive end-user adoption of WatchGuard’s products through events and training (seminars, web trainings, technical trainings, etc.).
- Drive coordination of technical resources as needed to close prospective opportunities in assigned accounts
- Identify and report on competitive trends (products, promotions, etc.) in assigned accounts.
- Escalate and resolve reseller / end customer issues when appropriate.
Position Requirements
- Proven track record in pre-sales and post sales activities.
- Consistent achievement of assigned objectives and quotas.
- Technical knowledge of networking infrastructure and Internet security systems.
- Excellent oral and written communications.
- Five (5) years technical or equivalent experience in related industry.
- Ability to work in a dynamic sales environment.
- Effectively manage territory expenses
Education
- Minimum four (4) year degree or equivalent required.
- Appropriate technical certifications required.
Travel
- Greater than 50% or as required to exceed sales objectives
