Board of DirectorsAshutosh Agrawal Mr. Agrawal is a Vice President with Francisco Partners. Prior to joining Francisco Partners, Mr. Agrawal worked in the Leveraged Finance group at Goldman, Sachs & Co. where he was involved in the structuring and execution of leveraged loan, high-yield bond, bridge loan, and mezzanine financing transactions for companies in a variety of industries including telecommunications and information technology. Mr. Agrawal serves on the board of directors of Primavera. Education:
Benjamin Ball Mr. Ball is a founder of Francisco Partners and has been a Partner since its formation in August 1999. Prior to founding Francisco Partners, Mr. Ball was a Vice President with TA Associates where he led private equity investments in the software, semiconductor and communications segments. Previously, he worked for Genstar Capital LLC, a middle-market LBO firm, where he focused on investments in the semiconductor, capital equipment and communications industries. Earlier in his career, Mr. Ball worked for AEA Investors, a New York-based private equity firm, and also for the consulting firm of Bain & Company. Mr. Ball serves on the board of directors of ECI, Legerity and WebTrends. Education:
Alex Slusky Alex Slusky is the founder and managing partner of Vector Capital. His areas of expertise include infrastructure and applications software, corporate spinouts, and technology buyouts. Alex currently serves on the board of Savi Technology, and as Chairman of the Board of LANDesk Software and Corel Corporation. Prior to their acquisitions, Alex was also director of NetGravity (acquired by DoubleClick) and Acuity Corporation (acquired by Avaya). Alex also led Vector's investments in RealNetworks (NASDAQ:RNWK) and Extricity Software (acquired by Peregrine). Prior to Vector, Alex led the technology equity practice at Ziff Brothers Investments, managing a portfolio of public and private technology investments. Before joining Ziff Brothers, Alex was a partner at New Enterprise Associates, focusing on venture investments in software, communications, and digital media. Prior to NEA, Alex was a consultant at McKinsey & Company and a product manager at Microsoft Corporation. Alex has a B.A. in Economics, summa cum laude from Harvard University, and an MBA with high distinction (Baker Scholar) from the Harvard Business School. Jayee Xu Jayee Xu joined Vector Capital as a Vice President in 2007. Prior to joining Vector, Jayee was with Goldman Sachs in their firm-wide strategy and investments group where she invested in public and private companies, helped to build new businesses and executed joint ventures. She worked closely with the most senior members of Goldman’s global management team. Her transaction and operating experience in this role involved financial institutions and technology businesses in the U.S., Asia and Latin America. Earlier in her career at Goldman Sachs, Jayee was a member of the firm’s Technology, Media and Telecom Investment Banking Group where she worked on a variety of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, leverage buyouts and balance sheet restructurings. Her clients included eBay, Veritas, Network Appliance, Overture/Yahoo, RealNetworks, Sanmina-SCI, as well as technology-focused private equity firms. In addition, Jayee has worked for General Atlantic where she focused on healthcare IT services and devices companies. Jayee has an MBA from the Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Auckland towards which she studied at the University of Auckland and the University of California, Berkeley. |
